Ein Erlebnisbericht von Yara Hülbrock (Q3)

On January 12, 2022 the English courses of Ms. Müller and Mr. Schönhals went to the English Theatre in Frankfurt. The performance of “Young Frankenstein” was a really nice experience for all of us.

At 6pm. most of the students met at Friedberg station to take the train to Frankfurt together because our teachers wanted us to assemble in front of the theatre at 7pm.

When the performance started we were really impressed by the music and funny characters that were played by fantastic actors. Although everybody spoke really fast and the music played really loud, we were able to understand almost everything which was said. Due to gestures and impressing stage images it was not hard for us to follow everything. The costumes also fit very well and looked really fancy.

The story was new, although one already knew the original story of “Frankenstein”. The play was humorous and mostly very exciting. The best part, besides the stage images, was the music. It was kind of loud, but as we recognized in the end, it was even played by a live band.

All in all it was a really impressing performance that we can only recommend to further classes. Everything went well and it was a great experience.

Am Abend des 12. Januar 2022, unternahmen die Englischkurse von Frau Müller und Herrn Schönhals einen Ausflug zum „English Theatre“ nach Frankfurt. Die Aufführung des Stückes „Young Frankenstein“ war für uns alle eine wirklich tolle Erfahrung.

Die meisten Schüler trafen sich bereits um 6 Uhr abends am Friedberger Bahnhof, um gemeinsam den Zug nach Frankfurt zu nehmen. Unsere Lehrer erwarteten uns um 7 Uhr vor dem Theater.

Als die Aufführung begann, waren wir wirklich beeindruckt von der Musik und den lustigen Charakteren, die von fantastischen Schauspielern gespielt wurden. Obwohl sehr schnell gesprochen wurde und die Musik sehr laut war, konnten wir beinahe alles problemlos verstehen. Durch eindrucksvolle Gestik und beeindruckende Bühnenbilder, waren wir in der Lage, der Handlung zu folgen. Auch die Kostüme der Schauspieler passten sehr gut und sahen sehr schick aus.

Die Geschichte war neu, obwohl wir die ursprüngliche Geschichte von „Frankenstein“ schon kannten. Das Stück war humorvoll und sehr aufregend. Neben dem Bühnenbild war die Musik das beeindruckendste an diesem Musical. Sie war zwar etwas laut, aber am Ende ist uns erst bewusst geworden, dass sogar eine Live-Band dafür verantwortlich war.

Alles in allem war es eine wirklich beeindruckende Vorstellung, die wir nur weiteren Klassen empfehlen können. Es hat an diesem Abend alles prima geklappt und es war wirklich eine tolle Erfahrung.
